One of the most negative, anti-American pen-for-hire's of the 20th Century and personal mouthpiece for Dick Cheney, Robert Novack's war on the average American peaked with his treasonous outing of CIA operative Valerie Plame, which endangered the lives of dozens of agents and their families while costing the CIA (in other words us taxpayers) untold billions of dollars worth of re-organization and washing decades of intelligence successes down the drain. While I'd rather he died in front of a firing squad as justice would demand, I'll settle for him simply being gone at long last.
I honestly don't understand the hate for people who simply have a different point of view. I guess for some people, everything is emotional. P.S. You may wish to blame Dick Armitage for Ms. Plame.
liberals love celebrating the death of people they don't agree with politically. they are very cynical. not Maris61 in particular, but its just a trend i noticed. I recall on other boards, there were some lefty-posters gleeful when Reagan died.
It says a lot about lefties like maris when they actually celebrate the death of anyone who may have a differing view then they do. Clearly, this is the difinitive root of our problems in this country- hate that hopes for and celebrates death. Brought to us all by the liberals.
Amusing how Maris61 makes a post, and it is followed by posts attributing his thoughts to all "lefties". Quite the extrapolation. barfo
Why are you calling Shooter a lefty or liberal? I haven't seen any "Yay Terrorists are Dead" threads lately, but I hardly think he is a lefty.
See, I actually misread that line - I read it as "by all the liberals". However, the clear implication of both BP's post and HUSTLA's posts was to paint all liberals with Maris' comments. I don't see a lot of qualification in that statement. barfo
just a casual observation I've seen on teh interwebs in forums such as this, when guys like Reagan and Nixon died, a lot of libbies who posted, instead of mourning were more "good riddance". conservatives can disagree with someone policitally without wishing them dead or celebrating when they do die...which I found some liberals, at least on online communities, to be like. I'm sure when Cheney bites the bullet, more than a few libs are going to be poppin champange... to me, many liberals are cynical and morbid.
I think drawing broad conclusions about a group of people based on what you read on interwebs forums is kind of a bad idea. barfo
