    The Raiders or the Broncos?

It occurs to me they're both a bit out of sorts. Figures for the Raiders. But, the Broncos??

The Broncos. Josh McDaniels has really undercut that franchise in a short time.

For the Raiders, this is basically par for the course, so hard to call it "disarray," unless you want to say they've been in disarray since the mid-80s, outside of the three Jon Gruden years. ;)

Oh yeah, the Broncos. It's hard to watch how that team has been just ripped to shreds so fast.

His fault that he inherited one of the best young quarterbacks in the league and immediately decided, as an ego move, to try to deal for a significantly less-talented quarterback in order to have "his quarterback."

Did Cutler handle it well? No, but it should never have even reached that point. Bringing in "your guy" makes sense if your team has a weakness at quarterback...it's foolish when you have a young, franchise quarterback.

Could somebody PLEASE tell me why Shannahan was fired?!? Appears that's turning out to be a bone-headed move, as well.

To shake things up. Since Shanahan's repeat titles, Bowlan apparently felt the team had stagnated and that Shanahan was having trouble assembling good defenses, so it was time for a change to infuse new blood and new philosophies.

I wonder what he saw in that cat, McDaniels?

Offensive coordinator for the Patriots, and the Patriots led the league in scoring for something like three straight seasons. He was a top head coaching candidate.

    lol.

cutler will never be "one of the best young quarterbacks" as long as he has pout attacks over trade rumors.

Broncos had a lot of picks in the draft, but really fucked up. They didn't really address any of their weakness, and their roster is packed with running backs and secondaries.

I'm guessing you're in some way related to Jay Cutler?

Fairly weak response. And ironic, since your bias (McDaniels being from your hometown team prior to being hired by the Broncos) is pretty transparent.

You usually have intelligent responses, so I'm surprised to see you resort to troll techniques.

Without being a fan of either the Pats or the Broncos, it would seem logical to me that if a young guy was given his first crack at being a head coach, he would feel much more comfortable with the almost all-Pro quarterback that he's been working with for 3 years than with an All-Pro quarterback he'll have to waste a year teaching his system to. In a league where getting fired after 2 years is a distinct possibility, I could totally see trying to swing a deal for your guy to get a jumpstart on having your offense run smoothly. And from my detached view, it seemed that Cutler WAS being overly sensitive to the trade rumors. :dunno:

That said, the raiders are the most jacked-up team I've seen in a long time in any sport. More than the Clippers or Lions

I think people have overlooked how stupid it was for the Broncos to trade one of their "Cutler trade" 1st rounders to the Seahawks this season. I mean, with how terrible that team looks, that's a potential 1st overall pick.

    Good call.

I didn't like Josh McDaniels, as you can see. I just don't think Cutler is as good as you do, especially factoring in how much of a whiney little bitch he is.
