On offense Pau is a center easily and takes few jumpers for his position. He goes to work on the block and has a very different style from the elite PFs in this league who feed off the dribble-drive, etc. He has the ability to play Power Forward and hit jumpers which is different from being soft; Pau hit the weights this past championship season which helped. Shaq in his prime is one of the best players ever but he's not going to stay anywhere for a decade, he flames and burns bridges with every team/front-office he's been with. If we had Pau from the start of Kobe's career until now, we'd probably have more than four rings. Shaq at this point is going to get you 30 minutes a night maybe at that declining level of his, just based off stamina I would take Pau.
