The HCP Blazer logo thread inspired this. Do you guys have any tattoos? Of what? Where? Plans for any new ink? I have a fallen angel on my left shoulder that represents the end of my marriage. It's a bad ass angel with its wings on fire and reaching down. I want to get my sons name across my chest in calligraphy. I also want to get "Love Is Pain" somewhere on me, not sure where. Also, I want "A coward dies a thousand deaths, a soldier dies but once" somewhere. You guys?
I have a tattoo on the right side of my back. Chinese characters translates to I bring good luck & fortune to those around me.
I know right lol I will NEVER get a different language on me. I sit next to a chick at work and same thing happened to her. It was supposed to say beautiful in Chinese but it really means something else lol
In Marion's case I don't think you can literally translate each character to get the true meaning. If you translated my characters individually it reads bright sun and moon or something like that. However combined, the characters translate into a phrase.
I've been planning on getting something in the distant future but I am still drawing blanks. I won't be getting anything until I'm completely sure what I want. Is anyone here good at coming up with tattoo or drawing concepts? (Not actually drawing them, just coming up with ideas)
My problem with tattoos has always been that I could never think of something I'd want branded on me at the time that I could guarantee I'd be equally down with 10, 20, 30, 40, 50 years down the road.
