I think Batum is the best SF we have. If you can get another team to take Webster, I'd be okay with keeping TrOut. But TrOut is not good at playing PF, he doesn't rebound well or box out well. We need to develop Penderham at our back up PF. From this basis, TrOut or Webster must go!
I don't think it is. I think the same could be said about Shavlik and Ruffin. Those two were the reason we won 54 games.
The same can not be said about the other two. Travis can say that since the begining of his NBA career, he has played more minutes each season and each season his team wins more games . . . and that is not because he has only played for 2-3 season. He can say that and has been plyaing for 6 seasons. (I wonder how many other players can say that) I'm not saying Travis is this great player. But when you said he didn't get much time because he sucks . . I simply pointed out that the more time he gets a season, the more his team wins . . . one would think if he sucks he would either get less time each year or the more time he gets the worse his team does because he sucks. In fact it is the opposite. I do think much of this is the circumstances and not Travis . . .
LOL at much of it. I would say all of it. Also, Travis' first 3 years, our win total actually went down as his playing time went up. Only the arrival of Brandon Roy and LaMarcus Aldridge caused our win totals to go up. Until this last year, we had never made the playoffs with Outlaw on our team.
click this link then RPG DIFF the young Blazers, with Travis covering the backup forward positions, are already arguably the top rebounding club in the league. It's true that he doesn't get a lot of boards, but is his play really hurting that effort to an unacceptable level? When he's on offense he's usually well outside the key (and rebounding position) attacking from the wing. While he doesn't collect boards this way he does draw his man out of the key allowing teammate guards to swoop in and collect the loose balls. On D they usually put him on perimeter players too. He's effective sometimes and far from perfect overall. He's also dirt cheap. If he leaves as a FA after next year I doubt it's nearly as easy to replace his contributions as some here contend. STOMP
He can share his marshmallows with the kids on gameday, since he's soft and all and marshmallows are soft and all and he is probably made of enough soft stuff to dish some out and all. You know.
