    Lawal's got some guts going from middleweight (185lbs) to take on a guy who barely makes heavyweight. But "The Smashing Machine" sucks these days so he should handle him.

    I still dunno what the "sparring" match entails.

    Ok, but that was just grappling. Will they have full size gloves on? No striking? It is peculiar.

    I don't think it was just grappling in the Aoki match. Fedor gave Aoki a few hard punches to the gut.

    It'll probably be playing around though like the Aoki match was.

    ^ You're right, it didn't explicitly ban striking, but obviously there was very little. I don't know what kind of gentleman's agreement they had--or will have for the next one with Mousasi.

    Karl Amoussou easily works over John Doyle for a RNC win. M-1 hyped him up a bit as a big prospect. Looks like he has some skills.

    Fedor, armbar, over.

    That was... I'm not sure what that was. Pretty much a waste of time. Seemingly closer to pro wrestling than MMA or submission grappling.

    News: Fedor will not fight until February.

    Opinion: Mike Schiavello and Guy Mezger agree that Brock Lesnar wouldn't last a round with Fdor.
