This is why Roy will never be MVP... it's like Oregon doesn't exist on the East Coast, like all their maps say "Here be Dragons" in some giant region west of Las Vegas and north of LA.

Wow. I can't think of anything more douchey than a reversible jersey with a Nets player on one side and an opponent on the other.

Not sure if that's a BlazerCaravan original, but repped for the laugh.

    Nice work.

I wonder if anybody on here owns a BRoy/Kobe jersey?

They didn't sell well here; when you wear it Roy-side-out, you get a rash all over your skin.

What kind of 'fan' would buy those? Oh, right, the NBA is all about catering to the faux fans.

The only way I'd buy a reversible jersey is if it had Blazers on both sides. Like Oden/Przybilla. Nico/Martell. Or maybe a modern jersey on one side and a throwback jersey on the other. Like maybe Roy on one side and Drexler on the other. Aldridge and Lucas. Oden and Walton. Something like that.

    Otherwise, definitely douchy.

I'm not sure this is earth shattering, but then again I live in LaLa Land and am used to the 'other team' marketing opponents to sell tickets. The Clippers have done this for a while.

Come to think of it Oden-hater-in-chief Bill Simmons has Clippers season tickets just so he can watch the other teams. Presumably he has a voodoo doll of Oden that he's trying to break the legs off of when Portland is in town.

I might buy it if it had "sucks" under the opponents name. "blows goats" would also be acceptable.

I am reminded of the famous New Yorker map of the US. Shows New York in detail, New Jersey, then a big blank with Chicago, Hollywood, and the Pacific Ocean.

Now I would like the idea of a jersey with Roy/Drexler, or Batum/Kersey, Oden/Duckworth, et al.

I could see having a Sonics/Thunder fliparound. Except on the Sonic's side it'd have to have a protruding dagger built in. That way every time you cheered for Kevin Durant you could feel the team stabbing you in the back.

I could also see having a reversible Detroit and Portland #30 jersey. The Portland side would say "CANCER LOSER" and the Detroit side would say "WORLD CHAMPION".

I'd call it "The Cognitive Dissonance Line."

I'd pay crazy money for a reversible Fernandez/Petrovic jersey. A more perfect pair I'd never see.

That's actually a really, really smart idea. I'd be all over an Oden/Walton jersey for myself (I already know I'm overweight--I don't need fucking Kevin Duckworth jokes too.)

Although given Walton's injury history, maybe that's not the greatest paring.

I'd buy the Roy/Drexler one for my older son.

I too really think it's a good idea. It may be difficult due to licensing issues...don't players receive a cut based on how well their jerseys sell? Might be a hang-up...for example if one player objected to sharing a jersey with another player.

I was wondering the same thing. But if New Jersey is able to get away with it on players that aren't even from the same franchise, shouldn't it be easier with current and former greats from the same team? Or am I trying to bring too much reality into legality?
