What's the most exciting outdoor activity you have ever done?

    I just went rafting on the White Salmon this past weekend. Going over the falls was a rush, especially after our raft flipped on the Oak Springs Rapids on the Deschutes last year. I have done parasailing (but that is pretty boring). I tried surfing once and would love to try it again.. But, I think for me the most exciting outdoor activity I have done is probably kayaking. I think I enjoy rafting more though. I would like to try windsurfing some time.

    Almost killed myself on Boxcar-on-the-Deschutes when I was 17.

    Most of the other stuff was military-related...fast-roping out of a helo, being topside in an Alaska storm in February trying to do a helo-evac...that type of thing. Never parachuted, though.

    Maybe not MOST exciting, but just did the Hood to Coast thispast weekend for the second time. Was a lot of fun. Anyone else here do it?

    I am sure it involved running around the yard with a group a kids playing [insert name of kid game here] after eating an icecream bar or something similar. Nothing in adult life can match that.

    The start of my first marathon was pretty cool. Skiing is pretty fun. Did some hair raising Mtn biking back in the day.

    Haven't done the hood to coast yet RR7 but I want to. I think my company will have a team next year.

    Skydiving, scuba-diving in Mexico with 15 foot Manta Rays and going into underwater caves, and maybe getting some killer air whilst skiing.

    Mowing the lawn is pretty hard-core too but it makes me light-headed.
