I hope so. AT&T is going to be fucked, their service sucks such ass....Verizon is one of the better carriers. I have sprint and I've been fine with it....wonder if the Verizon M.O. to stay away from Wifi is going to kill it. I hope they go on sprint so i don't have to bother with transferring numbers.
YES! I don't have any problems with the phone service with AT&T, but their 'G network' is a POS. Hopefully Verizon has better internet service.
This is great news. I might think of getting an iPhone if this goes though--I've had so many bad moments with AT&T.
What does this mean if I already have an iphone? I stay with AT&T, right? I've been happy with them. I switched to Sprint a couple years back because I got a discount through my work with them but they were so bad I switched back (throwing away about $400 in Sprint gift certificates that I was accumulating to put toward a new phone). I really don't want to change again.
AT&T had a 5 year exclusive deal for the iPhone. The deal is about to expire and it just means people with iPhones can choose between AT&T & Verizon now. Of course a lot of people with unlocked phones haven't been using AT&T anyways. If you like AT&T you can continue with them.
It does. I believe that CDMA (sprint and verizon) has better voice and data networks versus GSM. But GSM is more of a global standard.....so its better if you travel. I hope it goes on sprint, they have a good data network and its a lot cheaper.
I just got an HTC pro....insurance baby. hopefully i keep this long enough until this is my new replacement!
I love the Iphone. Nothing can compare, so many imitations but they all suck. Verizon needs the Iphone to reclaim the throne.
