The way they described it, yes.

it seems accurate to describe his as a pg that needs the ball in his hands. it's all speculation as to whether or not he'll take the blazers to the next level as he's never played on a team on the level of the blazers last season, but i think it's reasonable to think he won't be any major improvement for the blazers.

i just thought that was an odd part to question since it seems to be a fairly common thought that miller might not be a good fit.

but you were definitely right with the "i'm sure there's more...". cavs make the "biggest move of the offseason" but drop? the rockets with "scolla" and "lawry" as their frontcourt?

OK, fair enough. Perhaps, wishful thinking on my part. That said, I "have" heard a number of so-called pundits claiming that Miller is a beautiful fit for this team.

    We shall see, though.

the Lakers are the only team in the league with three 7 footers? Pau is just under, but okay he's a push/whatever... who is the 3rd? Odom??? Dude is 6'9. I don't think the Blazers (Oden, Joel, LA) or the Celts (KG, Sheed, Perkins) are looking up at them size wise.

I was going to pick this article apart a bit more, but I'm sure everyone can see it for what it is. No need.

Heh. I don't think it's a bad prediction. Adding Carter instead of Hedo should be a big step up, and it's reasonable to expect (a) Howard will improve, and (b) Nelson won't miss so much of the season.

    We'll see.

I think people are going to be surprised by Miller. I'm tired of the Brandon Roy iso.

I'm not sure how much of a step up adding Carter is over Hedo, but I do think a healthy Jameer Nelson adds a lot more than a healthy Rafer Alston adds at the point.

Yeah, if Nelson had been healthy the whole time, that team would have been very hard to beat.

You're right, but Hedo wasn't worth the money he got, so it was either let Hedo go and replace him with Vince, or overpay for his services. Which would you choose?

what the alternatives were aren't exactly relevant to whether the team improved or not. the alternatives are relevant when discussing how they did this offseason, but i don't think that's what these rankings are about.

I think Lee was pretty much a piece of crap in an Orlando jersey, so I disagree.

    We'll see :)

And Miller will tire of it also, but that's Nate's choice and that's what we'll run as long as he's here.

I don't expect Miller to be able to adapt to being led on a leash by Nate every play, and he'll be screaming trade me by next summer.
