Interesting chart and some surprising results. Luke and Odom are often considered our best distributors on offense, but this chart shows they aren't producing much when they have the ball in their hands. It would be interesting if another bar was added displaying the pass before the assist.
Isnt that the point? The chart is comparing points vs possesions, so guys who pass a lot would have smaller ratios. Likewise, guys like VladRad who shot the ball everytime it got passed to them, would have higher ratios. Pau is just an efficiency monster.
It's not necessarily the player scoring, its points production when they have the possession, whether it's scoring individually or passing.
