Ken Flo needs to move up or down a weight class IMO. There's nothing for him at LW anymore, unless he wants to be a gate keeper for the rest of his career.
Yeah, Kenny is 0-3 so far (TUF, two title shots). Dunno what more he can do--I suppose if Penn beats Sanchez, a rematch with Diego would make sense.
LOL, shocker. White is looking to possibly put another card on in early November to fit it in. He isn't putting Penn/Sanchez on alongside Lesnar/Carwin. He wants to counter Strikeforce's November 7 event with a live event. Sanchez/Penn could be that. Dana has hinted it might be on TV, possibly on ABC or HBO, but probably not on Spike.
Penn vs. Sanchez has been pushed back to December 12th, UFC 107, the same event that will have Rampage vs. Rashad.
If Rampage chooses to be involved in the A-Team movie, he will not fight at UFC 107--which is what is being reported by a dubious source (MMA Bay).
I wonder how Dana would feel about that. No worries though if Rampage drops out I can think of two guys that would love a chance at jumping higher in the rankings. Luis Cane or Thiago Silva would make a good opponent, heck Rich Franklin would probably be ready too. I'd be excited for any combination of those guys fighting each other.
Dana is fucking pissed about Rampage and the A-team movie. I doubt Rampage does it. I think its a joke he won't let Rampage do it, but he lets Chuck Liddell on DWTS? I understand Chuck is "semi-retired", but its a crock of shit. If Rampage has an opportunity for some income, then he should have every right to get that chedda!
I don't think Dana would mind if Page hadn't already committed to doing The Ultimate Fighter. They've spent a lot of time manufacturing the feud between him and Rashad and not having that amount to anything (in a timely fashion) might be frustrating for the UFC, kind of like when Hughes and Serra took a year to finally fight.
