I'd say Hout earned the right to talk a bit of trash, though. You just went out and completely shut down one of the top offenses in college football. Maybe he went a little far in his trash talking. Regardless, throwing a punch is completely out of line for the situation. However, #1 on their team(can't remember his name) shoudl have been flagged at least 4 separate times in that game for basically throwing punches to Oregon players' face masks. Ridiculous how much they allowed him to just hit people in the face talking shit during the game, adn did nothing to try to keep emotions in check.
This is all UO and BSU have scheduled currently. I'd be surprised if the Ducks schedule them again, but you never know. I hope the Beavs can go in there next year and beat the hell out of them!

No doubt. Hout should have just held his head high as he walked off the field victorious and not kicked a man when he was down. He got what was coming to him. That punch is not what concerns me. What concerns me is the absolute meltdown that occured afterwards. That was just humiliating and embarassed the hell out of me that he was representing Oregon.

Talking trash is one thing. Grabbing a player walking off of the field, spinning him around, and then yelling at him after beating him is a douche move. It certainly doesn't justify a punch, but Hout did more than just trash talk. I imagine that's why Chris Peterson was trying to get him away from Blount. So, with that, while the punch should and will lead to a lengthy suspension, I have no sympathy for Hout, and seeing his eyes roll back into his head at the moment he is calling Blount a "bitch" is actually kind of funny.
