I don't think a lot of those shock jocks believe what they are saying . . . hate sells.

What's funny are the people who buy into it. There is this one radio host at night who plays a character that is suppose to be offensive in many ways . . . this host gets people callling in so enraged with this character and they don't even know it is the host using a different voice. It's funny and shows radio hosts will do anything for ratings.

 

I guess that's why a lot of Libs are accusing Obama's opponents of racism. They know that hate sells.

 

That is Phil Hendrie. He had a show originating in L.A. years ago with that shtick and it was the funniest thing I ever heard almost. He has his "guests" give the most outrageous takes and the people who don't know the gimmick call in outraged.

I think extremist on each side preach things they really don't believe themselves.

 

I actually heard Paul Begala admit on CNN that he wasn't an idealogue, but a believer in the Democratic Party. As such, he'll support any program that he believes furthers their aims and goals. I really applauded him admitting it. I wish Sean Hannity would do the same.
