The UFC is pushing to make Marquardt/Henderson the main event of UFC 105. Marquardt is down with the idea but Henderson is not thrilled with the prospect, and coupled with his contract renegotiation, it could be an uphill battle to make this fight a reality.
Yeah, I never noticed how similar and dull the UFC posters were and are until you guys pointed it out. If I'm Hendo, I'm not taking that Marquardt fight. You've done everything to get another crack @ Silva. Either give me a shot @ Silva or give me someone @ 205 who can put me further in title contention.
Kongo vs. Mir could be moved up to UFC 105 as the main event if Henderson/Marquardt can't be arranged.
^That is awesome. (Mir - Kongo 105) I also made a TUF 10 thread, but it's gone And I had no idea Shogun was the number 1 contender. Does Silva fight the winner of Shogun-Machida? Also, is Rampage-Rashad still on the card for 107?
I'll find it and give it a bump. Maybe if Shogun loses, Anderson will fight him. But Anderson and Lyoto won't fight because they are teammates. No, it's off. They will fight next year once Rampage is done filming The A-Team and has six-eight weeks for a training camp.
^True say. I want Anderson to fight Rashad. I think since Rashad will be ready, it will be a sick fight.
http://www.sportstwo.com/forums/showthread.php?t=146040 It'll be the official TUF 10 thread now. Anderson vs. Rashad would be great but it would take the wind out of a Rashad/Rampage fight, so maybe after.
How about Hendo-Rashad at 205 or catchweight since both seem to be sitting and waiting for their desired opponent.
I think Rashad would be better served to wait and beat Rampage if he is only interested in the LHW strap. Otherwise a fight like that would be good.
Now here is a humdinger: Little Nog's first UFC opponent could be Luis Cane. Yes sir, I like that one.
