They have been playing like shit lately. The offense has been horrible and inconsistent.

I hate our bullpen too besides maybe Wilson and someone else.

Giants don't deserve to be in the playoffs. :(

    Plus the Rockies never lose.

We are a shitty team. Great pitching but they've been falling off as a staff lately.

Our bullpen is pretty money though. Wilson is solid as a closer and we have two "bullpen aces" if you will in Affeldt and Romo who can come in and shut it down for an inning or two. Medders and Miller have been alright as long relievers. Both have been lit up a few times but are mostly solid and occasionally very good. Howry and Merkin suck ass. This new kid Runzler looks pretty good. I reckon he can replace Merkin next year as a guy who just comes in and throws heat but with more command and hopefully better results.

I'm already thinking about the offseason though. We need a big bat very badly.

Merkin has potential, but the IQ of a doorknob.

I'd take a chance on Penny if he would take a two-year deal. He seems to be auditioning for next year though. If we sign him, then he would replace Johnson. As for bats, we need to a few home-grown ones. It seems the Giants keep paying big money for guys who suck and they kill us for years to come. We don't have a big bat coming up just yet, so here's a list of 2010 free agents. I dunno who to get. Most of them seem over-the-hill:
