In news that will make CF happy, Paul Buentello has been released from Strikeforce and is working to get back into the UFC.
Did Buentello even fight in Strikeforce? or did they just pick him up after affliction fell apart and did nothing with him?
Talked to Joe Warren today. He's excited for his upcoming fight. We talked about the Kid fight for a little bit and he said he thought he was going to get screwed over by the refs, like we all did. I also met Scott Jorgensen ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scott_Jorgensen ), today. He was really cool.
Silva looks pissed. Like some reporter just asked a dumb question. Edit: just noticed what he was doing with his hand. Maybe that's just joke face.
I didn't ask him. Next time I see him, I'll ask him when he's coming over to the WEC. I'm sure if he keeps winning, he'll be over soon.
Ey speeds, I asked Warren about coming over stateside to fight and he said his contract with DREAM has him tied up for a little. In the near future, his only chance to get over here hopefully is with Strikeforce and their partnership with DREAM.
Wow, thanks for asking. I didn't know he actually had a contract with Dream. It seems a lot of the guys that fight in Japan just do one-offs. Good for him, though.
is Travis Lutter the closest anyone's ever been to beating Silva in the UFC? I am watching Unleashed right now and Lutter had mount on Silva during the first round.
He wasn't really landing any shots but yeah, that's the best anyone has done. Granted, Silva was fighting injured, but still.
The episode is posted on Cage Potato right now. It was the first one I've seen. Arlovski didn't really hold back.
Lol, Arlovski has to win sometimes, right? I bet he asked Dana if that counts towards his MMA win-lose record.
Rich Franklin vs. Forrest Griffin needs to happen. Enough of this 195 lbs weight class bull shit. Put Rich at 205 and let him see how he fares.
