It was broadcast over the weekend on FSNW. Did anyone else see it?

I remember that team's high octane offense but I'd forgotten how good they were at defense. They were dominating the Jazz. They got several blocks right under the rim. Kept the Jazz to like 19% shooting in the 2nd half.

    I loved that team.

I remember and watched that game this weekend again too.

Quick hops and many blocks, tips, and general havoc. I also forgot a bit, about how fierce they'd take the ball at the rim. We don't do that currently.

I really miss TP. And hope Andre is good like he was at getting into the lane for easier buckets.

We were a very good team that year!!!

Clyde's thunder dunk over Malone in the 4th got me almost as wound up watching it again as it did when I saw it live.

I was seriously annoyed when they showed the "play of the game" from the year before when Uncle Cliffy turned the ball over in a 3 on 1 which lead to... well you know. I'm not ready to talk about it yet.

AND isn't the "play of the game" supposed to be a good play? Why didn't they show Magic slapping the ball all the way to the backcourt right after that which lead to the aforementioned thing I can't talk about?!? This would be considered a play, Uncle Cliffy's was just a hideous and nauseating mistake!

Yep, those teams were absolutely fierce and fearless. They played HARD and aggressive. If our current team can reach that level of aggressiveness and tenacity, we will be scary good.

Alas, not shown in my neck of the woods. But I still have creaky clattery videotapes of those games. Man, that was sweet.

And it will be even sweeter, some day soon, when the Blazers are the team that wins the very last game of the season.
