Adding too much weight would effect Silva's speed, accuracy and movement around the ring. Mir would be tough to throw off or submit if Silva ended up on his back if Mir comes into the fight weighing 20 or 30 more lbs. Just look at how Mir got manhandled against Brock Lesnar. He was outweighed by a good 30lbs and Lesnar just muscled him around and beat the shit out of him.
