I tend to agree. I have much higher hopes than most here for Webster, but until/unless he shows it in the regular season, I will just retain them as hopes, rather than expectations. Oden is nearly a sure thing, as far as I am concerned, to show dramatic improvement. Batum is more iffy... I think that he might experience some growing pains as he transitions from a defensive specialist to someone with a more complete game. Even if he becomes a better player, I think there might be a rough spot before he becomes more effective and beneficial to the team. Ed O.
