    Get over it Dana. The guy has a chance to earn cash from something other than advertising and fighting. The world doesn't revolve around you.

    Dana really needs to stop acting like the UFC is his concentration camp and give his fighters a shot at marketing themselves through film and shit. Save Rampage/Rashad for the Super Bowl card or some shit. It isn't that hard of a problem to fix.

    I'm all for fighters doing whatever they wanna do, but not by breaking commitments. Rampage was committed to this fight already and then backed out liked a douche bag. Fight him and then go become George Clooney.

    These guys should be allowed to do whatever, within the provisions of their contract (no skydiving or whatever), but when they have a fight booked they shouldn't be able to cancel it for superficial reasons such as wanting to film a movie, IMHO.

    Why? If you dont look out for yourself who else will? Dana just mad cuz he aint gonna get that big cut outta the fight. It can easily happen after the movie is done filming. Rampage mma career isnt gonna last forever so he might as well try to branch out to try to get that after career money

    i don't understand the argument that his career isn't going to last forever so he should take time out of his prime years of his career to pursue other things. shouldn't the argument be that his career isn't going to last forever so he should be fighting now and get into all the other stuff afterwards?

    Its not like they're in a rush to do the fight. And its his career I dont think anyone including Dana has a right to tell Rampage what to do. This movie could be big for him and skyrocket his career after the mma. He's just thinkin future tense. Just like TO wit his reality show

    well if he's under contract and agreed to a fight, then absolutely the ufc has the right to tell him that he should be fighting the fight he agreed to.

    He's not under contract which is why the fight is not happening. Dana set a date but nothing was in stone

    Not for the fight. Just because he's under contract wit the ufc doesnt mean they can tell him what and what not to do and when.

    right. i'm saying if he is under contract with the ufc and agreed to do the fight, then he should be doing the fight instead of the movie.

    Did he already sign the contract already, though? And Rampage has also said he still wants time to heal up his injuries from those fights earlier in the year. I bet it is just a cover up, but a legit reason if true.

    I don't know what the situation is, but if a Main Event like Rampage is signed to a fight, they shouldn't back out for something like a movie. (Although Baracus is a wicked role for Page).

    Obviously something like an injury is understandable to back out of a fight.
