No, this is not an OSU football player thread, but a political one based on recent threads. As we see around here, the reason for such partisanship these days are that about 75-90% of the lefties & righties pretty much believe what they are told to and do not have the intellectual capacity to consider another point of view- even if it's proven correct. It applies more so to the lefties for obvious reasons, but it also applies to many righties. I've said it before and I'll repeat it again- until people learn how to respect others, and can realize that what they are told to believe isn't always right, we'll have no real change for the positive in this country. I hope for a major overhaul in the Congress and Executive branch to people who can intellectually graps that point. This is all gotten way out of hand. First Bush and now Obama.
I rather enjoy the debates I read on this forum. You have to realize that the people that participate are often the ones who have the strongest feelings on the subject. I consider everyone's opinion, providing they have evidence to back up what they think. (It's annoying when people reply with on sentence responses like "That's not true" or "That's a ridiculous assertion.") I have visited a lot of forums and I find this one has the best mix of intelligent views from all parts of the spectrum. I love you guys!
That's not true. That's a ridiculous assertion. That's not true. That's a ridiculous assertion. barfo
You don't know what you are talking about Barfo. I would provide a link but you can google it yourself.
Of course you can, what did you think I have been doing all this time? By facts, I mean anything I say.
Sorry I haven't been around for my thread, but somehow my passwaord was deleted and I had to reset it. I'm sure t was just an accident or glitch in the program.
