Re: World Victory Road Presents: Sengoku X any minute, someone will comment how badass this poster looks and how bad ufc posters compared to it.
Re: World Victory Road Presents: Sengoku X This is Pride, right? Or is Sengoku X its own fighting league? And that poster is bad ass.
Re: World Victory Road Presents: Sengoku X World Victory Road is the league, and its separate from Pride. Pride was bought out by Zuffa a few years ago.
Re: World Victory Road Presents: Sengoku X WVR is one of the mid-level MMA shows in Japan alongside Dream, Shooto, K-1, and others. This is one of the least interesting cards they've put out. X denotes it's their 10th show. Each show has been called Sengoku.
Re: World Victory Road Presents: Sengoku X (Sep. 23rd) Small correction: the event will be broadcast at 3am, not 4am as I originally listed. Not that any of you will be staying up. Might be worth Tivo'ing it, though.

I got up and watched some of it, it was a decent card all in all. too bad I missed Doerkson's fight though... still WVR appears to be slightly ahead of DREAM for title as best Japanese MMA org. They have the better overall up and coming Japanese talent which is a big bonus to them.
