just watched the first espisode of season 1. Once I get caught up on Breaking Bad, I intend to watch more of it.
kinda rough around the edges for the first episode, hoping it gets a bit better.. seems like it easily could.

    Fucking intense.

That scene where he killed Zobelle's ex-henchmen was intense. I didn't expect him to pull the trigger right away. It was awesome. Great season, fucking great. I haven't seen a season of television that good since The Shield. Not even Rescue Me is that good.

Next season is going to be awesome.

haven't seen last nights show, I'm liking the series, but there are some realy cheesey moments too. it still top 7 or 8 for me to watch though.
(Breaking Bad, Dexter, Lost, True Blood, Bones, Damages, House, Nurse Jackie are on the list as well)

I think its better than anything on that list other than Breaking Bad (which I don't watch) and maybe Dexter.

But that is just my opinion.

House and Bones are 'TV shows I watch with the wife and enjoy enough to keep watching' I'd pass on them for gaming or living on the internet more if I was single.
We both love Lost and it's better than SOA IMO as is Damages which wifey and I just devoured the first season off. Great stuff, Ted Danson being awesome in a serious role?? Awesome!

go watch breaking bad NOW!!!! best show currently on TV IMO.

Maybe 2-3 years ago I might have agreed that Lost is better, but not anymore. The constant stalling and stupid twists/stories have really ruined it.

Here's an interview with Kurt Sutter, the creator of SoA (He also plays Otto in the show)...anyway, there are a few spoilers for next season so don't read it if you want to have no idea what season 3 will include. Pretty interesting read, and there's also an explanation for Half-Sack getting killed off.

I hate the stalling in Lost, but still fall in love with it once it starts up again. Gets me hooked every time. Lets see what SOA is like in 2-3 more seasons.

I was a bit let down with the ending of the season. I liked it when henry rollins, Alan arkin and his 'daughter' were all going to jail and Sam Cro was not getting their violent retritbution. I mean if that's how ever season ends, it will become a bit predictable.
So I did like that Alan Arkin got away (for now) and that half-sack was killed (even thought I liked the character) because it's not formulaic. The Irish dude stealing the kid?? great set up to next year... or a convienient way of getting rid of a logic problem.. (how can 'dad' run around so much stay out so late ALL OF THE TIME, with a kid?)

Still this is a pretty good show, but it still has some writing flaws and some cheesy moments. Better than 90% of what's out there IMO.

Too bad he didn't mention Kenny Johnson (Curtis Lemansky from The Shield). He had a very minor role in episode 12, which showed some conflict with Tig. I wonder if that's going to expand in season three.

I'm staying away from any info on next season, I want it all to be a surprise. Just like Dexter, Nurse Jackie and Breaking Bad. Tell me nothing about those shows, I wanna watch in suspense!
