Why do Knicks Fans, knicks personell, ESPN..why does everyone talk about aquiring guards??? You already have 6 ball hogs at the guard position? I dont get it..
They want to get into more deep contracts on 2-3 players. They should pick up Penny Hardaway's contract while they are at it.
The Knicks need to quit the league then come in as an expansion team. They would do better than they are now.
they need to fire Isiah Thomas and need to put someone in that has a destination for the team. i think Isiah doesnt know what kind of team he wants. He doesnt have a plan for the team. I think they are going to be stuck like this until the contracts expire. No one is going to want any of them except for the rookies Frye, Robinson, and Lee. Thomas has already said he isnt trading them, so i see them kind of stuck for a while. No one wants Marbury, Francis, James, etc. and their huge contracts.
Yah they will, because who would want either of those guys on their team.As I said in another thread I would take Royal Ivey of the Hawks, a guy that acts like a veteran, and is just a helpful guy on offense even though he doesnt score like Marbury or Francis, he doesnt turn the ball over EVER in his 15-20 minuts a game. If he's open he'll make it. Hes a solid guy. and a VERY good defender. I would take him any day over a cancer like Marbury and Francis.
I see someone maybe taking Francis, not Marbury though. Unless a desperate team like Minnasota takes him.
out of all the players with big contracts, i'd go for Jamal Crawford. Although he doesnt play defense for <Censored>, he would be a pretty good 6th man. Plus i havent heard anything about him having a reputation for having a bad attitude problem. if i was the clippers i'd take a chance on Francis, because he really doesnt have a problem playing with cuttino mobley. lol.

Francis could be great when he accually plays. Crawford sucked before these last 4-5 games or w.e. Francis was just tired of losing in Orlando and didnt play as hard as he could. If he gets traded expect him to pull a Vince Carter

With Crawford though, he is a reliable scorer, and is ok with coming off the bench(at least i think he is). thats why i would take Crawford over Francis, but i see your points on Francis.
If your going to take Crawford as a 6th man, then yes I would take him. I would not take him to start at my 2 guard spot though. And about Franchise, it would depened on the team he goes to. I could see the Wolves going after him this offseason.
You just dont want him influencing your younger guys..Like he wouldnt fit well on a team like the Hawks. There average age is like 23 years old! I wouldnt want my potential superstars like Josh Smith and Marvin Williams to be influenced by these guys.
No of course not, thats why I see him going to the Wolves. A team with expeciance and wants to win, but dont have the pieces.
knicks fans don't like what's going on. i think isiah is doing exactly what scott layden did with pf's. instead he's stockpiling a bunch of overpaid guards. no one is happy with what's going on but larry brown has actually finally settled on a rotation. it took injuries to headcases like marbury. francis never should have been here to begin with i think isiah just picked him up in an attempt to get a big name this offseason.
