I thought he was like one of the best backs in the league a couple years ago. Now he is coming off the bench?!?! What happened to him?

I'm a Trojan and Saint Fan. I loved Reggie Bush in college. But he has yet to step up for the Saints. Some of it is on the Saints, Some of it is on Reggie himself.

The coaches are not using Reggie right IMO. They don't run him enough. And when they do use him its strictly in the passing game. Although, he had a rushing touchdown yesterday. I think the coaching staff has settled on him as the kind of player he is. That is a recieving only back. And I have to say. If that is all they are going to use him for. As a saints fan, they ought to trade him now while the value is still semi high. They have other backs that can do the things Reggie does on the receiving end. To me it's a waste of talent and value. I believe he is more potent than that.

But why he is on the bench? The few times he has had a chance to prove himeself. He didn't do enough. Period. This coaching staff has jumped to conclusions on the kind of back he is and now he is a backup.

he is injury prone, small, and unable to be a every down back.

What's funny about that is that the Houston Texans got soooooooooo much shit for passing on him and Vince Young for Mario Williams. LOL talk about TOTALLY making the right choice. 30.5 sacks and hasn't missed a game.

Very good point. I kind of thought the same thing. I was like "who is Mario Williams?"

Dang! I don't pay much attention to football (I am trying to this year) and I guess I just always thought he was really good!!!
