It is pretty damn hilarious, but I forgot Dexter in the looking forward to category because I don't have pay tv right now. Dexter is the best show ever, just hope it lasts for at least a few more good years.

Seriously, if anyone doesn't watch this show, start. It's unbelievably badass and hilarious.

Saw House on the DVR last night. Two episodes to start the season, and it was interesting.

I particularly like the show because of his excellence and irreverence. If they take that away, the show many lose its best quality.

That and how an englishman sounds so much better with an american accent.

I've watched a dozen or so episodes over the years, and every plot was pretty much the same:
    "Johnny's passed out!"
    "Could be lupus."
    "House is so insufferable."
    "I hate House."
    "House is so complex."
    "House is a drug addict."
    "House is so smart."
"It's (insert obscure disease you've never heard of here)."
    "Thanks doc!"
"(Something heartwarming that makes you think he isn't a complete asshole.)"
"(Something else that makes you think he is.)"
    Credits.

BTW--it's sad for me to see a great comedic talent like Hugh Laurie reduced to such a predictable role. He's an absolute riot in an old BBC series called Jeeves and Wooster.

Perry Mason was predictable, too. And I do see a lot of similarities between the two shows. The epiphony toward the end that saves the patient's life.

One thing for sure, I'd rather be sick at House's hospital than at the one in Gray's Anatomy. People die a lot at the latter ;-)

You forget where he takes advantage of Wilson, and Wilson tries to trick him only to fall for Houses original trick.

Yeah, he's a very similar character in Blackadder, only slightly more idiotic.

It's just depressing to watch such a talented, funny, cheerful guy playing such a somber and self-absorbed role.

It's like comparing young and old Micheal Jacksons.

    Awesome pic, bodyman.

I finally got to watch the full 2 hours of [H]ouse last night. Was a super good episode, and i'm looking forward to the season. I wasn't a fan of season 5 at all, but 1-4 were masterpieces. They need to make sure there is more comedy in the show with House and Wilson, and then the clinic, and stuff like that. House is an absolute riot in the show sometimes; funny as shit. I'm not a fan of the new team, and I thought Kutner was the only good one anyway. Taub and 13 are boring, the old team was better.

    Blazer games.

Right now, though, almost anything - my TV mysteriously lost its ability to receive the satellite. It takes DirecTV's "award winning customer service" 10 days to schedule an appointment. I'm back to listening to the A's on the radio.

Taub could be good but they are letting his character take too long to develop. I keep hoping that Huntingtons disease can progress to a fatality in a week or two as I hate 13 as well.

I was kind of disappointed that they let House out of the loony bin after only one episode, I liked the way he related to the nutjobs more than regular people. haha

I probably wouldn't have talked to Wilson again if I were House, despite the whole accidentally getting his girlfriend killed and kinda getting him in trouble with the law over drugs thing.
