With basketball season coming up so is fantasy basketball leagues. I have a small list of people I'm going after in the league but I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions other than go for the best person on the board? Maybe some sleepers that should do pretty good this year or decent rookies that should get some burn on crappier teams. Basically what do you do to get a winning team?

I like to have a few Knicks, Suns or Warriors players on my teams since they play such fast paced games. I also try to get people who have a lot of blocks, assists or steals. Those stats are hard to come by. Scorers and rebounders are a dime a dozen.

    My rookie sleepers:
    Tyler Hansborough
    Tyreke Evans
    Johnny Flynn
    Jordan Hill

Are we going to have a Sports Two league this year?

Make sure to load your team with lots of guys that play multiple positions. That is key to winning at fantasy hoops. F/C ,PG/SG, PF/SF, or my favorite, David Lee - not only was (is?) a double double machine, he plays C/PF/F/SF

    All according to Yahoo settings

you really need to consider what you get points for in that fantasy league. Do you get points for blocks? Do you get more points for O-rebounds than D-rebounds? stupid stuff like that
