This was probably the funniest show I have seen in a while. It was not PC in the slightest, so those of you, and you know who you are, that have trouble with humor that isn't vanilla should not tune in. When they called the little Vietnamese baby a cute little pot sticker, and questioned if she would have trouble pronouncing her name...Lilly, I lost it. Extrememly well written, and all of the characters are brilliant. What worries me is that most Americans don't seem to embrace smart shows. Arrested Development and 30 Rock are prime examples of this. Both hillarious, both critically acclaimed, and both get low ratings. Instead they like shows where they are basically told to laugh, like Everybody loves Raymond. Hopefully people tune in and "get it"
I enjoyed it quite a bit. The intro scene on the airplane killed me, as did the painting in the nursery.
The pilot is funny! I actually watched a few minutes of this last night while flipping thru channels. I watched the part when the boyfriend came over then the dad hurt his back.
I loved the premiere. I'm not a sitcom guy these days, but this one I will definitely make a point to watch.
Just watched it, hilarious. I always look back at shows that I like and think that the first year or two aren't as good as I recall. IF this show gets better, it is going to be awesome. Love Ed O'neill, didn't know he was in it until I saw him. Tell your friends so it doesn't get cancelled, I hadn't heard one word of this show before tonight.
LOL. Episode 2 was funny. I do like this show, wish it was a full hour, but I guess it being half an hour gives it character! lol.
Another strong episode. It's one of those rare shows, for me, like Seinfeld or Arrested Development where I look forward to all of the characters being on screen.
