Seeing how worn out Hedo is from playing in the finals and the Euro championships do you think Nate would have still said that? Sounds like the Raptors are giving Hedo training camp and preseason off so he can rest up. I like the players coming in and competing for playing time. I'm so thankful that Hedo didn't sign with us. I think he would have been a distraction and an irritant to Nate and the team.

I actually hope they giveRudy and Batum some time to recover . . . it's a long season.

I actually hope in the future Rudy and Batum focus on their day jobs. That goes for Roy, Aldridge and Oden too, when they get the inevitable invites for international play. Although in this case, young Nico needed the work and the run, in the future when he develops his game more he's going to need to take some time off during the summer.

Anyone else worried that Outlaw will be in super jacker mode this season?

Not really. I mean, no more than usual. I think if he ever did get into "contract year" mode (and even I wouldn't say he's the type of guy likely to do that) I think that Nate has enough options this year to nail Travis to the bench without hurting the team. Not sure he could've done that in years past.

I asked KP that when we were at the practice facility and after an exasperated look he said both Rudy and Nic's practice and playing time will be significantly decreased for a majority of the preseason and practice
