http://www.packers.com/news/releases/2009/09/23/2/ After the injuries of Nick Collins and Atari Bigby, the Packers Safety became under pressure. Aaron Rouse was released and replaced by ex-Colt Matt Giordano. Giordano is second string behind Nick Collins at Free Safety. While Derrick Martin is the backup behind Atari Bigby at the Strong Safety position.
Lol thanks Denny, you like the crazy lady on the right? I love the expression. And the popcorn is awesome.. BUT on topic the Packers are concered about the Safety starting rolls. http://www.packers.com/news/stories/2009/09/23/1/
The whole picture is ... jolly (for lack of a better word). Are the packers actually contenders this year?
I think they will only make the playoffs. Wild Cards maybe? We need to find veterancy on the O-Line, Grant needs to do business, Rodgers needs to be a good QB like he was last year. The Defense needs to continue their INTs and get some sacks going. For now its a learning experience for the Packers... The teams young, yeah young teams are good, but we need veterans showing these young guys how to kick ass... And also, Im disappointed in you Denny, a Chicago fan without the Blackhawk love? I only see the Cubs (boo), Bulls, and the Bears (boo) in your userbar animation... See im a Chicago traitor going and routing for Packers. xD
Now I need you guys to tell me everything you can about Aaron Rouse. Kenny Phillips was just put on the season-ending IR and we picked up Rouse from the waivers. What can I expect?
I wish we keep Rouse and released Bush. Rouse to me is a good player. I can see him as a great starting Safety down the line for some team. He has a lot of potential. He really hasnt done much in the regular season but Im pretty sure he did good in all of his preseason games.
