The physical test seems simple. I have to complete a 500 yard obstacle course consisting of: two ladders, 124 stairs (62 down, 62 up), shuffle between cones twice, jump a 3 foot, 4 foot, and 6 foot wall, and a 182 yard sprint. Sounds simple.
Passed the physical exam. I fucked up my pacing, I thought I was a little slow going down the stairs, so I hauled ass back up them. When I got to the top of them, the cop who was shadowing me told me my time was 1:05, ahead of pace! God damn it! That threw me off. I cleared the 3 foot wall easy and then on the 4 foot wall I jumped too high and vaulted too much LOL. I ate shit, landed in the dirt. I popped right back up but had no momentum so I botched the 6 foot wall my first two tries. I got it the 3rd try. The 165-lb dummy drag was a piece of cake. I made it to the sprint with like 45 seconds left I jogged the first half and then on the way back I was still jogging until I noticed the cop was ahead of me. So I told her I was going to beat her and I just hauled ass. I finished the course in 3:12. Not bad. I won't lie, the course was a little harder than I expected. If I hadn't of fallen and lost my momentum, I bet I would've been under 3. And yeah, I called the cop out and told her I was going to to beat her in a dead sprint :]. I did. Next step is backgrounds. I have a shit load of paper work to fill out. I'll know in two weeks if my background history is clean enough for them to assign me a background investigator to go more in depth. God, I hope it is!
What do you mean by pacing? Why is it bad to be ahead of pace? Btw, you mentioned that your dad is a fed. What kind?
I was trying to pace myself through the obstacle course so I didn't blow my load early like Brian always does when he is with a girl, I wanted to stay consistent and finish strong. However I thought I was behind pace and blew a lot of energy sprinting up 62 stairs. It wasn't bad to be ahead of pace, I just wasted a lot of energy for no reason.
Here Mamba, found another one. There's all you need, should last you a couple of weeks. You're welcome. Don't beat your meat too hard btw...
For those in the California area, or anywhere in general if you know about the UC's, is UCR a bad school? I hear from some people that it's a piece of shit school, that the campus sucks and the people there are dumb or something. Basically seemed like they rather go to a Cal State. But our counselors came to talk to us today and made it seem like a pretty decent school. They had flyers and videos of UCR and it doesn't seem too bad. Was that all just propaganda, or is there really truth in UCR being a crappy school? Because it's one of the schools I am looking at.
