Re: Seattle "Isnt intrested in the NBA" That SOB! HELLO I'M A SONIC FAN AND I LIVE IN SEATTLE! Plus, the reason the owners want a new stadium is because ours only holds 17,000 people. I mean, not that isn't a lot of people, but compared to Seahawks Stadium and Safeco Field it's not much.
Re: Seattle "Isnt intrested in the NBA" I doubt the Sonics will be moving, and I'm sure that Stern will not do anything to back up his threat of moving the Sonics out of Seattle. He loves having franchises in big markets and cities, and Seattle is a very good basketball city. They have had 40 years of history with the NBA, I believe, and their owner is the owner of Starbucks and other major corporations.Stern won't be moving the Sonics out of Seattle. He has a history of doing things like this... he plays hardball, makes threats, gets the media stirring, and then the person he is bargaining with agrees and does what Stern needs him to do. Smart business bargaining tactics.
