Now before everyone freaks out at the crap ratings they have lowered everyone's ratings this year, Dwight Howard is a freaking 89 Roy 87 Miller 78 LMA 77 Oden 74 Blake 72 Outlaw 69 Rudy 68 Bayless 65 Pryz 65 Batum 64 Webster 60 http://www.operationsports.com/viewshot.php?id=9148&no=60&outof=160 Now obviously they got some things wrong, like Miller being ranked above LMA, Blake Griffin also having the same rating as LMA already, i also don't know how Bayless is rated higher than Batum, our starter of all but a game last season. Also, the Celtics are very overrated, Rondo rated ten points ahead of LMA and equal to Roy, wtf?
Aldridge seems to be rated a little too low. Batum is another guy that should be rataed a little better.
It looks their team ratings are a bit off. Denver is an 86 overall while the spurs are 80 and the blazers 79.
ahh, that makes sense. IDK, maybe the ratings will improve when the season goes along, arent they setting something up like that?
They usually issue ratings updates on a weekly basis based on how players are performing and usually the rosters that come with the game are pretty far off. Just look at last year as an example.
Wow!!! Terrible ratings. LMA should be better than 77. Wow!!! Batum 64??????? Joel 65????!?!?!? Rudy 68?!?!?!!??! Thank God you can customize your own ratings.
They must have changed the rating system. These ratings make absolutely no sense compared to last years game. I can see an experience stat being added...We'll see. Can't wait to play it online though.
Wow the ratings are REALLY low this year. Other notables... Bosh = 84 Durant = 84 Granger = 84 Mello = 88 Dirk = 83 Kobe = 97 Pau = 84 Bynum = 74 Millsap = 74 Deron = 89 Paul = 94 Wade = 96 Z-Bo = 76 Bron = 96 Derrick Rose = 80 G. Wallace = 78 Iggy = 84 Roy is one of the better players in the game!
Its a joke to have Kobe better then Bron. Its been 2 and a half years that Bron has been equal or better than Kobe, and to put him 1 point better in the 2009-10 season? Give me a break.
Given that Kobe held the trophy this year and LeBron didn't I'm fine with him being 1 point higher at the start of pre-season. Weekly stat updates will fix that over time. Also, I like that everyone good isn't crammed up there in the 90's with no room to grow. It looks like they're incorporating actual dynamics in the stats, and maybe have tuned the engine as well. This will be my first NBA game on an internet-connected console (X360). I'm rather excited about the idea.
Not sure if this is true, but i read some where that the scale used to run from 50-99, hence so many ppl had high ratings. I think they may have increased the range this year
Wow, assuming the outside rating counts as mid range too, they really bungled LMA at only a c+, he should be at least in 80, and Batum's defense seems to be very low as well.
I read somewhere that they did this on purpose in order to have more separation between superstar players and the rest. That's why everyone is so low and even star level players are only in the mid 80's. I'm guessing that the role players with ratings in the 60's won't be as bad as players in the past that were also rated in the same range. Here's the NBA glorifying it's star players again. Although, I'm not sure how much influence the NBA actually had in this decision.
Some Blazers game play if you haven't seen it. There's a part two on the page too.
