Dana White has expressed interest in signing Mousasi, and Mousasi has expressed interest in going to the UFC in the past. A few months ago, after the collapse of Affliction MMA, Mousasi's M-1 affiliated reps got him to sign with Strikeforce after showing him a phony offer from the UFC. Afterward it was revealed that the UFC hadn't made an offer (because they don't tamper with fighters already under contract elsewhere), and Mousasi refused to comment on that situation (basically confirming the rumour that his management had stacked the deck for Strikeforce to sign him).
