So yeah, Brock Lesnar, who says he doesn't talk trash, is starting to talk some trash a few months in advance of his fight with Carwin. Being a Canadian I have only a vague concept of collegiate sports in the US and the rivalries that are involved, but I can imagine there are plenty of D2 wrestlers who would love to show their D1 counterparts that they are up to the same standard of athleticism, if perhaps not academically.

Re: Brock Lesnar doesn't think much of Shane Carwin Speeds actually couldn't be further from the truth when he said Gonzaga tookdown Carwin and saying therefore Brock will easily takedown Carwin. That is like saying Chuck tookdown Randleman after he dropped Randleman. The reason why Gonzaga took Carwin down was because he landed 2 powerful shots, one of which broke Carwin's nose. Carwin recovered, and managed to get back to his feet. Anyway, I do have Brock as my favourite in the fight, but Carwin has a lot of power, and has better striking. Carwin might be able to counter Brock's wrestling long enough to land something big. Brock has power to KO guys as well, but he isn't as quick with his hands.
I'm guessing you missed the 3 big shots that Gonzaga hit him at the 50 second mark. Surely Carwin is affected, and one of those shots breaks Carwin's nose. and then Gonzaga gets the single leg at 55 second mark, and then the trip at the 61 second mark. Carwin after 3 big shots that landed is in a different state of mind 5 seconds later than a fresh Carwin. I'm not saying Gonzaga doesn't have strength, power and knowledge of trips, but those big shots were definitely the main factor at that point. I'd like to hope that you don't think Serra got GSP down in the first fight because GSP sucks at wrestling?
Beat his ass Carwin! If there is anyone I hate in the UFC its Brock Lesnar. Take your damn bully antics and WWE mentality back to where it belongs!
