    Wow..I wonder at what point the FTC steps in. If they control the delivery and the programming of such a major entity both on and off-cable you'd imagine there would be some oversight.

    I tweeted about this, but we were getting media requests from the E! channel a while back and all of their reporters have to use Comcast email addresses. I didn't know that and just assumed they were bullshit so I ignored them. What a bunch of ass-nazis to force their news division to use @comcast.net email addresses the same one that joe blow down the streets use for their emails because they use comcast.

    Comcast pulled Versus from DirecTV a few weeks ago. Their claim is that DirecTV dropped them, but the story is that Comcast dramatically tried to raise the fee to sublet Versus to DirecTV and DirecTV declined. Now, in the Portland paper, we had two half-page ads (Fr/Sat) last weekend advertising the OSU/Arizona game, and how DirecTV had "dropped" Comcast.

    Hardball tactics by Comcast.

    yeah, at my gym where Versus channel is, its a big screen that says that comcast raised the prices for them to run the channel.

    so glad that my comcast internet got changed to time warner...i save about $15 a month since they switched...same wiring.
