LOL. What a ridiculous team the Warriors have become. I will be going to zero games this season. Chris Cohan has to lose his shirt before he'll sell the team. Anybody else in? http://blogs.mercurynews.com/kawaka...wants-out-warriors-continue-to-go-in-circles/
I don't know, I'll probably get sucked in again, despite my Cohan/Rowell hatred. Kawakami marks rebounding as a problem for the Warriors, I don't know that it really is anymore. The Warriors ranked #11, above average, last year, and the continued development and more minutes for Randolph and Wright, plus the addition of Moore, should only help with that. I expect they'll be in the top 10 in rebounding this year.
I got hella pissed when I saw Nellie said that. I gotta thank the franchise, so I'll coach for free. uggghh.
I don't understand why anyone would get upset that Nellie offered to work for free. I thought it was a pretty interesting offer. I'd border on a pretty cool thing to say...a very "Nellie" thing to do. Just because he offered, doesn't mean they'll take it. Although, considering how budget conscious Cohan/Rowell are, they will definitely take it. I'm going to predict he'll become co-GM with Riley, if Riley makes it that far. And Smart as coach.
He'll probably do it, then sue over minimum wage laws. Or maybe hold out mid season when they are in the playoff hunt.
Warriors had the largest negative total rebounding differential in the league last year. That tells me that they need a lot of help rebounding the ball. The differential was -5.1 in rebounds for this team last year. If you can't rebound the basketball, you aren't going to win many games. http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/stats/b...diff&conference=NBA&year=season_2008&sort=233
Thank you for the stat, Cliff. I'm starting to wonder how many of our stats are inflated because we tend to play more possessions since we increase the tempo... rebounds per game isn't a good indicator compared to how we do relative to our opponents. We can score 110 points per game, but if we allow every opponent we face to score 112 or more on us... that tells us something about the way we play.
