    Hello darkness, my old friend
Roy makes a good point about Miller's defensive versatility. Miller may have lost a step, but he still has nice size and strength for a point guard and can defend shooting guards at need. Small forwards seems a bit...out there.

Andre Iguodala averaged 5.3 assists last year and Roy averaged 5.1. If Iggy and Andre can share the ball then I don't see why Andre and Roy can't coexist.

So Miller not only adds this, but also that.

Wait, this can't be right? Miller is nothing but a selfish, washed up, malcontent who will never be able to mesh with this young team ... singing him has likely cost this team its dynasty ... <cough, hack, sputter> ... what the fuck was that?! Somebody better call an exorcist.

I think that Roy and Miller can work well with each other for limited minutes but if they play together extended minutes one or the other may not be happy without the ball. And I think both are more effective with the ball in their hands. Therefore I think the best plan is for Miller to play 18-20 minutes a night with the 2nd team and another 8 to 10 minutes on the first team with Roy.

You mean there's a chance we start Bayless/Rudy/Outlaw/Cunningham/Collins the second game?

    The horror!

I'd love to see that, but Dickau isn't on the team.

I know he was working out this summer with the team. Was he actually a camp invite?

And what happened to Pooh Jeter?

Pooh signed with Unicaja Malaga of the ACB League.

Joel Freeland also was signed by the same team this summer.

Sweet. A man in the know. What's the latest on Patty Mills? Any plans to stash him overseas for a year?

I'm sure neither would mind the other having the ball for 8-10 mins so they could play together 16-20 mins plus with no problem.

Not sure. He's foot is going to be in the boot for about two more weeks. After that....probably sign with a team overseas, somwhere is Australia probably.

BTW I'm not in the know, I just follow the NBA closely and knew Dan Dickua had a choice between Boston or Pheonix and chose to join PHX for their camp.

And I remember Ben over at Blazersedge reporting Pooh signing overseas shortly after SL was done with and did a quick google search.

Let's wait and see who starts the first regular season game before we all decide whether my criticism of Nate was just or not, shall we.
