Your starting a franchise from scratch and you have the option to take any player in the NBA.Who would it be and why, make sure you take into consideration age, injuries etc.I'll say my choice later.

How many times is this question going to be asked..Ive had this soo many times..Right now..Id probably say LeBron, hes young, a freak athlete and obviously a terrific player. In the past I would have said Garnett, but now he is starting to get up there in age and probably isnt the number one option to start a franchise..Pre-knee injuries I think I would consider Amare because its hard to find talented big guys like that..Dwight Howard and Chris Bosh wouldnt be a bad choice, but with players like LeBron I dont think they would be the best choice at this point..

If it was a draft? Not trying to be a homer but I'd say Kobe. Sure Lebron has the potential to be one of the best of all time, but think about it. You pass up on Kobe Bryant in a draft, and he's gonna murder you every single time you play him.

Yeah and if youre starting a franchise in this case, I think you take the younger guy..

Chris Paul or Gilbert Arenas. They're both really young and are going to be one of the bests ever.

You would build your team around Gilbert? And that's not always true hoops.you can take Shaq and trade him for draft picks or younger players.

Shaq is the most dominant player in the game, its obvious no one will trade Shaq for ONE player.

I'd start my team off with a Center- always. So far, I believe the future's most dominat center will be Dwight Howard. He will be the next shaq but with more versatility in his offense, and more mobility. Never start your team with a gaurd.

Gilbert's 23. I would take him over anyone. Even my man LeBron.

I'd take the steals. I could easily get Dirk if he was rookie, and then I'd be aggressive and use my second for Reshard Lewis.

Nope. I'm a Cavs fan from DC. Believe me. I watch them both play.
