So, I'm just curious about thoughts for the rotation. The top 3 are obvious: CC, AJ and Andy. What order they go in is up in the air, but those are absolutely the top 3 for us.

It gets interesting after that. We need a #4 starter...but who? I thought it would be Joba, but he has been awful for the last month and a half. I've also heard some rumblings about Joe sending him to the 'pen, which would give us a filthy good bullpen.

If not Joba for #4 though, then who? I think Gaudin has a decent chance. He's 2-0 with a 3.54 ERA in 10 appearances (6 starts) since coming here. And he's been solid over the course of his last 4 starts too, and at the very least, better than Joba.

So I really, have no idea. Any thoughts? I think I would lead towards Gaudin personally. He's been good as a Yankee, and I think Joba is better suited to be out of the 'pen at this point. Beyond that, I like Joba in the 'pen more than Gaudin because than we can just unleash Joba and let throw that heater at 100mph because we won't have to worry about him pitching 6 or 7 innings.

They won't go with a 4 man rotation in the post season. It's CC, AJ, and Andy (just as you said) Jaba MAY end up starting a game or two depending on the days of rest for the other guys. No way they go with Gaudin.

Well, the 1st round they won't need a 4th starter, since it's only 5 games. However, if they were to make it further, I would think they'll need a 4th starter to go at least one game in each of the series so they don't have to put someone out there on short rest.

I wouldn't be surprised if the Yankees go with Gaudin. He has talent and he's been pretty impressive.
