Its a good power move. The dribble is a little bit long though. But at least when he ends the dribble, the ball is up high where the little guys can't get it.
What I saw Bay-Rex got himself a jumper. Travis is still a chucker Oden looks more mobile, and not as mechanical.

Pretty much the only thing that stood to me in that video was that Travis still doesn't pass the ball. He has to be one of the biggest ball hogs in the NBA.
Watch the video and tell me you don't see the same thing. The guy never passes. I saw the same thing last season. Once the ball gets in his hands, the only way it's leaving is as a shot attempt.
He had the ball less than most people.. and I'm not gonna go back and count but I only remember him taking 2 shots. I distinctly remember him passing the ball into Greg from the wing.
I don't. He got the rebound, brought the ball up and made an entry pass into Oden at about the 2:50 mark. In this short bit we saw him go 0-2... conversely we saw your boy Webster go 1-3 in that same short clip and he really didn't pass once. Funny how that works. STOMP
If Oden is out of position on the pick he needs to just let it go not throw his hip out in a attempt to set the pick or he's just going to get called for a foul every time. I didn't see him score anything except for a couple put backs. That's pretty much like last year. He does look a in a lot better shape. Joel though got more looks at the basket scoring on each on put backs of his shots. I'm impress with Martell. Twice in the two scrimmages he was out on the fast break getting a lay up converting on one and I think being fouled on the other.
Oden's little hook shot looks good, but it's easy when the guy guarding you is a foot shorter. That said, I'm hoping Oden uses a few more offensive moves this year. I think if he became a scoring threat, it would only make things easier for Roy and Aldridge.
