It was an overall pretty lackluster game, but some observations in no particular order:

-Turiaf was out so Maggette was the back-up 4 and Mikki Moore was the back-up 5

-Curry is by far the better PG than Monta...by far. Monta had 1 assist and Curry had 9. That's not even it though. It was his demeanor on the court, how he passes with certainty, his awareness of his teammates in transition and in the half-court. His shooting wasn't sharp, but the kid has a real nice stroke...better range than Monta.

-Monta seems pretty strong and held his ground pretty well in the post (defense). He still makes one-handed passes...and one for a turnover.

-Azubuike played pretty well, but his 3's weren't falling. He made some nice cuts and drives, but he's not commanding the same respect as Morrow. He hustled and got 10 rebounds. He's a hard worker that gets it done.

-Morrow and Maggette off the bench: 37 points.

-Maggette's newest target: replacement refs. Flopping worked like a charm.

-Sjax got a technical in the 1st quarter. He guarded Baron for most of the night. Some fans booed, but most cheered.

    -Baron's beard is back.

And Randolph had a bad shooting night, but 9 boards in less than 11 minutes is pretty darn impressive. Also 5 steals for Curry.

I wouldn't worry too much about the FG% for everyone. The shots taken were for the most part the right shots to take. Randolph had a couple very impressive blocks, one on a Baron layup and one on a Thorton (I think) dunk attempt). Baron block became our possession and I forgot about the block on Thorton. Either way, they were great!
