    I generally take the side against the police as I think they often go way overboard but without actually having been there for this one I can't take a side.

    It could have been a horrible accident.

    I'm generally on the side of police, though there are obviously exceptions. Really sucks that this guy was killed, but the maxim still remains...if a cop tells you to stop, stop.

    Just like anything, there are good people and bad people. I would need to hear more about the story, but it sounds like the cop was out of line.

    The cop should have done the PIT maneuver on the suspect as he was on the bike. heh heh
