I highly doubt Howard plays better defense than Outlaw. Sure, he's experienced, but he is also slow and unathletic. Outlaw rebounded very well at the Fan Fest IMO. Outlaw looked pretty decent on D against LMA.
As a post defender? Howard is undoubtedly better equipped to handle 4s than Travis is. Howard's main limitations are his age and his somewhat limited offensive game at this point of his career. I'm not even saying Travis is a bad player, I'm just increasingly of the opinion that he's not a great fit for this team given his skillset and the role they need him to play.

I agree people are so unfair to outlaw and all he does do. I am not saying he should be getting a ton of minutes, but for him to be ousted before Howard or Cunningham is silly. Especially as Kingspeed pointed out, that Cunningham is still at 10 points. Cunningham hasn't had a chance to wear out his welcome yet. Travis has (obviously) had more than enough of an opportunity to do so.
he has been here for 6 full seasons, perhaps it's time he tries somewhere else? I'm sure his family would love it if he were on memphis or new orleans
