Sokoudjou with a late shot, again? Jesus dude gets amped up!

Is it hard to get the crucifix position, it looks like Sok could've put him in it easily.

^ Sapp sucks. He's gotten progressively worse as a fighter, somehow. As soon as he was down all Sok had to do was keep punching from any position and it was inevitably going to be stopped once Sapp curled up, as he tends to do.

No video of Minowaman submitting Hong, yet.

I know Sapp sucks, that is why I wanted to see Sok take a step up in competition. Fighting these cans over in Japan might produce a paycheck, but it does nothing but pad his record. Bring him back to the UFC to fight Houston Alexander or Kimbo ;]

I think Fernandes flipped him off cause Warren was complaining to the ref about how he didn't tap.

Was there a time where Shinya didn't wear those long pants? Cause I know the guy is a great grappler but I am wondering how much of an advantage the pants give him. Man if Shinya Aoki had some better standup he'd be the #1 LW easily. I don't think he'd have much trouble with the big wrestlers in the UFC just because of his submission skills.

Sapp sucks in MMA but not as much in K-1 though, just like Hong Man Choi.

Their size can be neutralized in MMA, because smaller guys with quality wrestling skills can put them on their back.

It's hard to neutralize a guy like Brock's size though because his wrestling is very strong, his weakness would probably be cardio.

I think Overeem could be a big threat to Lesnar, probably a bigger threat than Carwin, although Carwin is a hell of a tough guy with his size, wrestling, and power. Lesnar, Carwin, Fedor, and Overeem are the top 4 HWs in terms of talent imo. I think Carwin matches up better with Fedor or Overeem than Lesnar though, I'm skeptical that Carwin is capable of outwrestling Lesnar, but I'm confident that he could outwrestle Fedor or Overeem.

and I do want Sokodjou to pad his record, dumbass f*cks at sherdog always overreact at everything, and most of them at one point were saying he was an overrated can. By beating Sapp and Nortje will gain him respect from dumbass fans who were writing him off as a can, (even if the fights were easy for him).

Wait, so you think Overeem is a bigger threat to Lesnar than Carwin but Carwin can out wrestle Overeem and Fedor?

Yes, that is exactly what I think.

Overeem I think has better footwork than Carwin, more reach, and kicks. I think Overeem might be able to circle Lesnar and land things, but obviously he could get takendown.

Carwin I think is pretty much up against a 20 pounds bigger version of himself, with better wrestling. Carwin has an edge standing in terms of handspeed, while Lesnar has reach.

I think Carwin could outwrestle Overeem, but could get KTFO as well.

It's kind of like rock paper scissors (without 100% likely outcomes), just that some guys match up better.

Carwin has an edge standing over Brock, but Overeem has a bigger edge. Carwin has an edge over Overeem in wrestling, and Fedor, but Brock has the edge over him in wrestling.

I think Carwin matches up better against Overeem than he does against Brock. I think Overeem matches up better against Brock than Carwin does.

I'd love seeing any of these 4 guys fight each other in any combination.

I like Sok, but he was thrown to the lions way too early in his career. He had to spectacular KO's over @ Pride and his next match is against Machida? That is some insane competition.

I still believe he is @ the wrong camp. I like Quest, I know a few of their members, but I don't think it is the right camp for Sok. I don't mind him padding his stats, but its time to take a step up to a higher level of competition. He is still very young. I think we'll see him in Strikeforce soon enough.
