Sorry, but every single one of those is spot on. Well the one omission might be Joel as one of the top interior defenders.

People keep screaming about how great Nate's offense is, so I guess that proves no GM's frequent this site.

Oh, I'm not complaining. I just expected the Blazers to get more votes for the WC, and BRoy to be placed higher in some player categories. It looks fine for the most part (although a bit too much sucking up to Kome, whom I think has been surpassed by DWade as best SG).

I find it sad that Flip Saunders who has coached a grand total of 0 games with the Wizards received more votes in the "offense" category than Nate.

Thank God they don't decide who gets into the playoffs based on a popularity contest.

All I can say, who cares. :dunno:

Flip Saunders has been widely regarded as one of the best offensive coaches in the league for some time ... that's got nothing whatsoever to do with the Wizards.

    They don't have too.

The fans do. It's up to the blazers to make their mark. Earn the respect.

Sorry, but I find it absolutely NUTZ that somebody voted Ray Allen and Brandon as the best shooting guard in the league ahead of Kobe!

But he hasn't shown what he can do with that particular team. There's no direct history from which to extrapolate his success.

By them voting for Roy to have a breakout season, just goes to show you how stupid people are. And that Duncan is top 2 for best PF and C in the league. Every other poll goes LeBron, Kobe, Dwight.

And according to these polls, Kobe is by far the best defender in the league.

    Lame polls.

    Anyone find this part funny?

    or this part

Brandon Roy got a vote for "break-out player"??? That either means the person thinks he's going to go absolutely ape-shit this year, or they don't consider 2 time all star and 2nd team All NBA as "break-out".

    I like this one too.

All in all, I had no problems with how those 'predictions' came out.

The poll related to coaching skills, not circumstances.

Well, he's proven he understands the definition of the word at least, so that puts him one up on Nate.

Nate thinks the best offense is a strong defense, and the best defense is a strong defense.

Nate's never implemented an offensive structure on either team he's coached.

Just as some players should not have skipped college, Nate would have benefited by coaching at a lower level first.

Arenas was on that list too. I would imagine that they feel Roy is still going to improve a lot?

The Blazers don't deserve any respect until they beat somebody good. It's that simple.
