Point Guard- Has been stellar all year. Billups has been considered an MVP candidate all year. His leadership throughout this dream season has been beyond belief, and he is still super clutch. Lindsey Hunter has gotten over an injury, and is still a defensive mastermind. Arroyo was here for a while, and was doing fine. Tony Delk is here now, and has been scoring in bunches. Alex Acker has been improving, and will turn out to be a nice backup in a couple years.A no doubtShooting Guard- Rip Hamilton made his first allstar game. He has been doing his thing, and is terrific in his unselfish ways. Maurice Evans has been another pleasant surprise. He was a no name pickup from Sacramento, and is just what Detroit wanted- a gritty, explosive presence on O and D. Delfino has been decent, but he is on the end of the bench. He has had some nice games though, and with time will become better.A-Small Forward- Tayshaun Prince has been phenominal this year. No allstar, but he is a top defender, and is a front runner to be on the defensive First team, over Ron Artest. Jason Maxiel hasn't been exactly what I expected, but he's big and promising. I expected more this year, though.BPower Forward- Rasheed has been a beast this year. Very strong post presence, top three point shooting big man also. The only thing I have against him is the T's, and the ejections and suspensions. Antonio McDyess has emerged though as a fantastic sixth man, but to a new level. As of recent, he has been terrific, and has made Motown forget that Sheed has missed a lot of time. Darko Milicic hasn't done anything in Detroit for his stint here. Now in Orlando, he's turning it up, with Dwight as the other big man. Amir hasn't had a lot of playing time, but has shown athleticism when he was in the NBA.B+Center- Ben Wallace, Defensive player of the year. Beast. Enough said. Kelvin Cato and Dale Davis are solid backup centers, and are bodies to throw up against the Shaqs, the Duncans, and the Jermaine O'neals.B+Coach- Flip is stellar, letting Chauncey on his own. I give credit to LB, b/c he molded Billups into what he is. Whatever, were still number one.A

i think those are all fair assesments...Delfino definitely needs more playing tme...i keep picturing evans as more of a back up for tayshaun though, however, lately, we have seen him in the 2 position...i personally like how Ben, Sheed and Dyess, are interchangable at the 4 and 5 position, which kind of makes it hard to give a fair grade on those 2 postions...otherwise SunnyD has got it right down the line

Yeah those are good except, JMax isn't a small forward. Maurice Evans/Carlos Delfino are both the backup SG/SF. You really have to grade it by player or Guards/Small Forward and Center/Power forward because some many of the Pistons can play different positions.

I'll try my hand at this too...PG-------------------------A+ ( i know it doesnt add up)~Chauncey Billups- AMVP Caliber season~Lindsey Hunter- B ~Tony Delk- A (has exceeded expectations)SG------------------------B+~Rip Hamilton- A-Career highs in just about every category but recent slumps give him A-~Carlos Delfino- CSF--------------------------B-~Tayshaun Prince- B Career year. and has stepped up big all season~Maurice Evans- CPF--------------------------B~Rasheed Wallace- BGreat all around player. But too many tech's give him the B~Antonio McDyess- A~Jason Maxiell- C (when he plays he is good)C----------------------------A~Ben Wallace- B+Still the NBA's DPOY and best work ethic but he hasn't played the best of this year.~Dale Davis- C+ (see Maxiell)Flip Saunders- ACame in place of one of the best coaches of All Time and got an even better record. i would give him an A+ but because of time, he hasn't won a title YET (by the end of june there will be one!)

When giving guys such low grades as C's and D's, you got to first take into consideration the amount of playing time they have been given. Carlos Delfino for example has been even given the opprotunity to flourish, where in my opinion, if he was given more of an opprotunity, that grade could be a B- to A-, but due to the lack of game time, and real game situations its hard to give him a grade. In my opinion, Ben Wallace doesnt really deserve the grade you gave him either. Im not slamming him at all, but there were times in games where i would think to myself, why doesnt he jump for that board or make that block...its almost like hes lost some intensity.Either way your post was excellent, and the grades were very good for the most part
