Ya, that's what I do. Well I don't drink, but we bring in pop cans and cheeseburgers. :)

I will gladly pay the Blazers to be able to stream their games, so long as Com****s doesn't get a red cent from me.

This is great news if it happens.

I wear my leather jacket and it has large pockets on the inside. I just stop at wendys and get some of their burgers. Not the best, but heck they have 99 cent ones that are good enough compared to the price at the RG.

I hope this is true, but I'm not going to hold my breath until I hear something official.

Why would there be something official about a cheeseburger down his pants?

Judging from recent years and how they've treated their fans, I assume they'll charge for this "service".

Right, everything should be handed out for free. Bandwidth, after all, costs nothing ...

Clearly, you haven't read enough of MARIS' posts in the Off-Topic section.

The internet is a magical place of pixie dust and pirated digital media; clearly the services required to obtain pirated digital media is itself free as well!

The guy at the door made me empty my pockets once last year and threw away my beef jerky. Seriously. Next time I'm going in with you. I'll hire you to be my mule. :pimp:

I think this is great news, even if they charge for the streams. I would hope that with improved access Comcast might be more willing to offer CSNW to the satellite companies -- everyone wins.

I would gladly pay the Blazers to get a live stream of the games. I'm hoping this is true and we hear something very soon. Sign me up!

Try a little cologne to cover up the cheeseburger smell. If you walk in smelling like a deep fryer, they're probably going to ask you to empty your pockets.

For me, it's not about the price of beer. I don't drink the swill they sell, even when I can get it for $8 a case.

I attend the games with my kids. Watching the Blazers beat the Lakers, with 20,000 other screaming fans creates more of a lasting memory of time spent with dad than watching the game on TV. We watch TV every day. There is nothing special, or memorable, about it. Attending the games in person is an event. Years from now, they may not remember the details of the individual games, but they will remember going to Blazer games with their dad. They will remember the "Beat LA" chants starting 45 minutes before tip-off. My youngest will remember dressing up for the games and making signs, and the time she made it on the Jumbotron 7 times as one game.

You just don't get that watching the games at home on TV, and I wouldn't want to give that up. For about what it costs to pay for Comcast for a year, I purchased 40 individual game tickets. That's 15 games, with anywhere from 2 - 4 tickets per game. And, I think that's a pretty good value for the memories it creates. We may not have the best seats (or even good ones), but we are there, in the building, together, cheering for our Blazers.

    BNM
