I’ve been to the Boston Globe’s Extra Bases Blog to see their newest blogger, Peter Abraham.

I don’t like the way the blog looks and I don’t like the fact that you have to register to post. That’s one of the things that made Peter’s blog at Lohud so great, you didn’t have to register.

The blog seems to be all over the place. You have Peter Abraham talking about the Yankees when I’m not too sure Red Sox fans want to read about the Yankees. Then they had two different writers post the game day lineups for the Red Sox game. Peter Abraham posted the Angels lineup and Adam Kilgore posted the Red Sox lineup.

I don’t like the fact that they have so many writers for the blog. They should let Peter Abraham post what he wants to post and let him take over. Just let him post. The other writers should just step away. When he posts a lot, you get to know his personality and the things he likes. It becomes more personal. You won’t get that with all the writers there.

It’s not going to grow anywhere near as big as the Yankee blog Peter had unless they let Peter Abraham do the blog all by himself and not let the other writers post.

    You're right. I didn't realize that point.
